PARKERSBURG, WV (February 5, 2010) – The Greater Parkersburg Convention & Visitors Bureau announced its new board of directors and officers during its 2010 annual meeting February 4 at the Wingate by Wyndham.

CVB President Steve Nicely said, “The bureau and community are very fortunate to have such a talented group of individuals from a variety of business backgrounds who are committed to promoting this region as a top of mind destination.”

Except for those who are appointed by one of the cities or the county that imposes the hotel occupancy tax in Wood County, the board of directors is elected annually by the members of the bureau. Board members serve in a volunteer capacity.
